On Saturday, we joined our friends for a hike in the San Tan regional park. The park is a work in progress, just recently opening a few new trails and with other improvements like campgrounds a ramadas planned for the future.
We started in the morning, thinking that the boys would lose interest in a about a mile. The hike turned out to go in excess of 4 miles--the boys were happy and having fun but had to be carried for the last mile.
It was a beautiful day for a hike in the desert; this is a great park. I've posted a few pictures so you can get a feel for how nice it is, follow this link for more pictures:
