Nathan is our first born. He has been such a blessing to our family. We are so fortunate to have Nathan as our oldest. He is an amazing example to his younger siblings; he's funny, very patient and loves to learn. When he was a little baby, we lived in Mexico. He was a chubby little thing and everyone would stop me and stroke his hair, pinch his cheeks and say "Que hermoso!" or "Gordito!" Sometimes, strangers would even take him right out of my arms and show him off to their family (with me running right after, of course). He was and still is such a sweet child. Rex and I thought we were the best parents in the world. Well, adding 3 more children to the mix has humbled us a bit, and helped us to realize just how special our Nate is.

We were watching old home movies a few months go and Rex was in some of them when he was a little kid and Nathan looks so much like him. I'm sure you already knew that though!

I can not believe he is 7. I remember being his nursery teacher on his first day of nursery. crazy!
