Many days I feel so uninspired thinking up activities for the kids. There's the usual painting, coloring, blocks, ring-around-the-rosie, etc. But, today, I thought of something! It's not too messy, but just messy enough to keep them interested--Painting with matchbox cars!
I put a thin layer of paint on a paper plate. They rolled their cars on the paint and then on paper. When they were done painting, I gave them a small container of soapy water and a toothbrush. They spent more time washing their cars than they did painting.
