Last week, Carter and Spencer began a community preschool program called Apples to Zebras. They go 2 days a week for 2 hours. Carter was thrilled to go. Spencer was a little apprehensive when it was time for me to leave, but warmed up to the idea when his teacher introduced him to the stencil table. They both love preschool and sadly had to miss all of this week, because Spencer was sick (I just couldn't bear to send Carter to school without Spencer; Spencer would have been crushed).
It's so fun to see them as big boys. Carter is always excited to be big, but Spencer is less confident. In fact, on the first day of Primary, as Spencer stood in the Primary room surrounded by all those kids, he told me that he wasn't tall enough for Primary. He's doing great now; I'm just glad I've been in Primary to encourage him along.
I'm so glad they have each other. Last week at swimming lessons, Carter was nervous and refused to get into the water. Spencer, being sensitive to this, got out of the pool and encouraged Carter to come swimming ("Carter, it's okay. It's fun. Look at me!"). Carter ended up getting in the pool and had a great time.
Though, the thought of MUCH less sleep is daunting, I'm SO HAPPY we are having twins again.

wow i cant believe they are big enough for preschool - now that is crazy!
Carol--I know! Time flies too fast. I'm sad that my days of having little ones are ending.
My mother-in-law has been working at Apples to Zebras for I think over 15 years. Her name is Alexa. That's a great little preschool and I'm sure the boys have an awesome time!
